Three $100 Scholarships Available
Day & Knight Chess Club is awarding three $100 scholarships to help our members continue learning, competing, and growing through chess.
Scholarship funds may be used toward chess-related expenses, including tournament entry fees, USCF membership, chess books, equipment, clocks, classes, camps, training, or other approved chess opportunities.

Scholarship Recipients Announced: October 2, 2026
Three recipients will each receive a $100 Day & Knight Chess Opportunity Scholarship.
Selected recipients will be contacted directly by email.
Eligibility
Applicants must be active Day & Knight Chess Club Community or Premium Members and provide their Membership ID.
Not a member? You can become a Community Member for just $30/year to become eligible to apply, while also receiving additional Day & Knight Chess Club member benefits.

How Recipients Are Selected
Applications will be reviewed based on:
- Financial need or barriers to participating in chess
- Commitment to chess
- How the scholarship will be used
- The impact the scholarship could have on the applicant
Chess rating and tournament experience are not required. Three applicants will be selected to receive $100 each.
